*Coast Wallflower (Erysimum suffrutescens)

A low, evergreen, back dune plant with yellow spring flowers.  Thrives in sandy soil in full sun with minimal water.

Island Alum Root
(Huechera maxima)

A good dry shade plant.  Low growing to 3' in diameter.  Sends up tall flower spikes with delicate white to pink flowers.

Coral Bells
(Heuchera sp.)

Similar to Island Alum Root but not as drought tolerant.  Good massed under shade trees.  An evergreen fire resistant plant for a shady area with spikes of variously colored (white, pink and red)flowers depending on the variety.

An upright riparian shade loving plant that will become dormant if it does not get regular water dying back to its perennial roots.

A riparian plant with glossy green leaves that will spread widely in perennially moist areas, good for pond areas in sun or shade.

A very low spreading perennial for full sun.  Bright purple flowers attract butterflies

Coyote Mint
(Monardella villosa) 

A very aromatic herb that grows 18' to 24' high and as wide.  An excellent border plant for part shade or full sun where it's leaves can be rubbed to release the pleasant mint scent.  Attracts butterflies with its purple flowers.
